Pondicherry University and St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Twinning Programme (PU-SXC)

 

 

Concept of Twinning Programme:

The Twinning programme is a UGC approved pioneering educational programme which extends the scope of educational programme by introducing the opportunities and access for higher studies through distance mode along with the traditional regular courses. It envisages a tie-up between the Directorate of Distance Education, Pondicherry University and St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata. In this mode Pondicherry University enters MOU with St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata capable with human and Physical resources and good learning ambience.

The main difference between the conventional Distance Education Programs and Twinning Program is that the classes are held more in Twinning programme and the classes will be held only on Sundays. This will help not only the working persons but also any other people those who can not afford time from MON to SAT can come and attend classes on Sundays.

Some highlights of 2 years MBA Programme:

  • It is a part-time course and the classes will be held only on Sundays.
  • The candidates want to join should have UGC approved graduation degree and have passed 10+2+2 or 11+1+3 or 11+2+2. The final year graduation candidates may also take admission in MBA.
  • The total course fees is Rs. 45,500/- to be paid in 4 installments (15500+10000+10000+10000).
  • The MBA programme is ideal for working people such as people from Banking sectors, corporate
    sectors, Defense sectors, Government sectors, private companies or any other organized or
    unorganized sectors as it will not hamper the normal duty hours from Monday to Saturday.
  • There is no age bar to join in MBA programme.
  • The classes will be conducted by experienced and senior faculty members of St. Xavier's College and
    experts from the Industry.

Admission:

Admission will be done on first come first serve basis. The candidate has to submit admission form in duplicate along with all relevant documents and the fee is to be paid to Syndicate Bank of St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata. The bank hours : Monday to Friday (9AM-1:00PM, 2PM-3:00PM).

Application Form and Prospectus will be available from PU-SXC office (Room No. 196, Jubilee Building, 2nd Floor, St. Xavier's College) @ Rs.500/- to be paid by Demand Draft in the name of "St. Xavier's College" payable at Kolkata.
