SUBMITTING APPLICATION DOES NOT QUALIFY ONE FOR
ADMISSION. FOR EACH COURSE THERE IS A SELECTION PROCEDURE TO
SELECT THE CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION.
CATEGORIES OF ADMISSIONS
CATEGORY I:
GENERAL, selected on merit.
CATEGORY II:
Catholics, and other Christians, SC, ST, OBC (non creamy layer),
Economically Marginalised,
Physically Challenged (differently abled) .
CATEGORY III:
Outstanding sports persons, NCC cadets, and sons and daughters of Alumini/ae with
long standing record of serving the college & society.

not having the required marks
for applying, may
meet the respective Vice Principals, with necessary documents,

NCC CADETS (candidates from all boards)

NCC cadets will have to
appear for an interview on 20th June at 11 am at the
College NCC office.

Cadets Appeared for "B"
certificate examination in 2009 need to appear for interview
in uniform.
-
Cadets who discontinued
NCC or completed the course need not apply under this
category.
SPORTS PERSONS (candidates from all boards)
Sports Persons will have to
appear for Trials in their respective field for consideration
under this category. Along with the trials, they also have to
follow the normal admission procedure like admission test /
interview etc.
SPORTS TRIALS
Eligibility:
Only those candidates who have represented their State,
District in their sport need to come for the trials.
Cricket: Those who have played for 1st Division clubs, Bengal
U17 U19, or CAB Inter District need apply.
Basketball, Football, Hockey and Volleyball players who have
played for 1st or 2nd Division Clubs, Junior State, Senior state
need apply.

Documents of the candidates will first be scrutinized and
only those who qualify will proceed for the trials after
obtaining a Trial Slip.

Candidates should carry original certificates, letters from
clubs /associations etc.
-
Candidates kindly staple together photocopies of their
application form and certificates along with one passport
size photograph.
-
Depending on the number of applicants, trials in a
particular game could be concluded on a second/third day.
-
Check the College Notice Board for the venue for
Verification of Documents.
-
Venue for Trials will be mentioned on the trial slip.
-
Trial dates could be rescheduled if conditions are not
favorable for trials hence candidates are requested to keep
a few days in hand after scheduled trial date.
-
Candidates who are to appear for written tests for
admissions should do so as per schedule.
-
Candidates from WBHS & boards other than ISC/CBSE, falling short of required marks for application
may meet the Principal from 3, 4, 5 June between 1 and 2 PM.
Please bring original and photocopy of your mark sheet along
with your certificates and letters etc.
