B.Sc. Major : Mass Communication and
Videography (MCV)
B.Com. - Honours only.
B.B.A. – Honours only.
M.Sc. - Biotechnology (5 year integrated after 10+2).

NO PRINTED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
THE ONLINE FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER PUBLICATION OF ISC/CBSE/WBHS
RESULTS.
PLEASE NOTE: SUBMITTING APPLICATION DOES NOT QUALIFY ONE FOR
ADMISSION. LAST YEAR, IN 2007, WE RECEIVED NEARLY 22000 FORMS
FOR A TOTAL OF 1500 SEATS.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLYING (REVISED).
Note : Calculate aggregate with
best 4 subjects at 10+2 level, including the compulsory
subjects as indicated in the online application forms and excluding Environment
Science / Education / Studies.
A student must have pass marks in
English at the 10+2 level, otherwise the application will be
rejected.

CATEGORIES OF ADMISSIONS
CATEGORY I: GENERAL, selected on merit.
CATEGORY II: Catholics, and other Christian
denominations, SC/ST, OBC, FINANCIALLY AND SOCIALLY MARGINALISED.
CATEGORY III: OUTSTANDING SPORTS PERSONS, ARTISTS
(SINGERS, DANCERS, ACTORS, DIRECTORS, PAINTERS ETC), CREATIVE
WRITERS, NCC CADETS, SOCIAL WORKERS, ALUMINI with long standing
record of serving the society & college.
Applicants for Category II, are to meet the respective Vice
Principals / Co-ordinators, as per the following schedule in
case they run short of the minimum required marks for applying :

Applicants of Category III will have to appear for Auditions
/ Trials in their respective fields for consideration under this
category.
Unless one is outstanding, which means he/she have won prizes
in open competitions other than their school and have taken part
at the district/state/national level competitions, they need not
apply under this category.
In case a student does not have the required marks to
apply, but is outstanding in his/her respective field may come
for auditions / trials. Such a student may be allowed
to apply after he/she is found outstanding in the auditions /
trials.
Students
who have the required marks to fill up the forms are advised, in
their interest, to come for auditions / trials with their
records/certificates to make sure that they are considered
favorably under this category.
Category III students, in case they do not qualify for favorable
consideration, will automatically be considered for admission under
Category I/II, if otherwise they have the required marks.
Dates for Auditions / Trials : (Carry your
application form during the trials / auditions).
ARTISTS (SINGERS, DANCERS, ACTORS,
DIRECTORS, PAINTERS ETC), CREATIVE WRITERS, NCC CADETS :

All candidates coming for
auditions must carry all the necessary instruments / costume
and be ready to perform.

In case a student fails to
appear on the scheduled date will not be considered for any
reason whatsoever.

- Only students having at least district level
certificates / awards in last two years may come for trials
and must carry all necessary documents with them. A
screening will be done before they are allowed for the
trials.
- All candidates coming for trials must carry all the
necessary gears and be in proper uniform/attire
ready to appear for
the trials.
- Hockey / Cricket / Basketball / Football players must
carry letters of certification from their clubs /
associations stating their recent achievements.
