UNDER GRADUATE ADMISSION PROCEDURE 2013-2014

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

No candidate shall be eligible for admission after a lapse of more than three years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination. The year of admission will not be taken into account while calculating 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.

 

 

B.A. English, Political Science, Sociology, Bengali - Honours & B.A. General.
B.M.M Bachelor of Multimedia with Specialization in Animation (4 years)
B.Sc. Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science,
Economics, Microbiology & Mass Communication.
B.Com. Honours.
B.B.A. Honours.
M.Sc. Biotechnology (5 year integrated after +2).

FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET.


A student must have 45% marks in all subjects studied at the 10+2 level,

otherwise the application will be rejected.

Students passing the GCE examination of the UK are eligible for admission only if they have passed with

2 A Levels and 3 O levels. Only subjects passed at A-level can be taken as Major for Honours.

Candidates with projected mark sheets are not eligible.

Note : Aggregate is calculated with best 4 subjects at 10+2 level, including the compulsory subjects as indicated in the online application forms.

The following subjects and equivalent subjects must not be included in the best 4 subjects :

Art / Fine Arts Environmental Education Fashion Studies Physical Education

However, one must enter the marks of all subjects studied in 10+2 level (as in the marksheet).

In addition to the marks criteria mentioned below, a student must have at least 45% marks in each subject studied in 10+2 level.
