SCOPE
Understanding real estate management is important for all careers related
to real estate. It is also applicable for individuals who wish to better
understand real estate for their own personal investment and financing
decisions. This introductory course offers a prelude to a more comprehensive
approach to the areas of real estate finance, marketing, legal issues and
management of projects.
In recent years, major changes in India’s economic environment and
accelerating economic growth in West Bengal have created major opportunities
in the region's real estate industry. Because the field of real estate has
become more complex, both the number of opportunities and the number of
challenges have increased as well. To meet these challenges, the real estate
courses provide a structured and sustained program that is urgently needed.
Many individuals just beginning careers in real estate often find that their
education and training are insufficient to meet the demands of today's job
opportunities. Equally frustrating for veteran real-estate professionals is
that they may lack a thorough understanding of the greater context in which
their work takes place.
This certificate course has been developed to help individuals employed in
real estate and related fields as well as to guide newcomers through a
focused professional educational.

Application forms may be downloaded from the website and completed
application form (along with two passport sized photographs and attested
photocopy of the marksheet of the qualifying examination) is to be submitted
at Room No. 7 by paying a registration fee of Rs. 100/-. Eligible candidates
may get direct admission subject to the fulfillment of norms.

PAYMENT OF FEES
The course fee may be paid in two equal installments – the 1st
installment of Rs. 7500 at the time of admission and 2nd installment of Rs.
7500 by 15th September, 2011. A concession of Rs. 300/- will be offered to
the students who pay their fees in one installment at the time of admission.
Fees are to be paid at the counter of the Syndicate Bank on the college
premises from 9 A.M. till 1 P.M. during weekdays and from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.
on Saturdays. Fees may also be paid by Demand Draft in favour of “St.
Xavier’s College” payable at Kolkata.
