ANNOUNCE

41st REFRESHER COURSE IN EXPERIMENTAL
PHYSICS

FROM
SEPTEMBER 4 TO 19, 2012

DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS
ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE, KOLKATA 700016

The course will provide hands on experience in carrying out more than twenty experiment in Physics, at the III years B. Sc and 1 year M. Sc levels, with a commercial kit of Circuits and set- ups specially designed for the academics. These experiments are already in use in about a hundred Institution all over the country. Details of the kit and the experiments are giving in the accompanying brochure.

About thirty teachers and a few students at the III B. Sc level from nearby colleges/universities will be selected as participants. Participants will be paid TA (Actual Fare up to a maximum railway fare by 3 tier a/c coach for faculty and II class sleeper coach for students). Boarding and lodging for outstation participants,if any, will be made.
