The
M.Sc. Computer Science is a high quality Masters Degree Course which draws
upon a world-wide reputation of high-quality research, excellent teaching
quality and facilities of the Computer Science Department at St. Xavier’s
College. Industrial links enable us to provide a better perspective at a
level beyond that of undergraduate degrees.
Our course is designed for students with a strong academic track record in computer science and mathematics at undergraduate level. We have high academic expectations and the standard of our intake is correspondingly high. The course combines a wide range of subjects and papers that are of importance in the current IT scenario. St. Xavier’s College is offering a four semester - 2 year M Sc in Computer Science under the University of Calcutta from the academic year, 2005-06. It is the first post-graduate degree course being offered by St. Xavier’s.
The course has been designed in consultation with distinguished personalities from the industry as well as from the academic world in order to incorporate topics and subjects of relevance.
