ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE

 

Dr. R.K. Raghavan Committee appointed by the Supreme Court for monitoring the measures to prevent ragging in higher educational institutions asked the regulatory bodies to prepare specific and strict regulations to enforce anti-ragging measures in the Higher Educational Institutions.

 

The Raghavan Committee has further asked the regulatory bodies to take all steps to ensure that educational institutions under their purview become zero tolerance campuses in respect of ragging.

 

St. Xavier’s College has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee. The Members are:

Ragging is strictly prohibited in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

 

We have a 150 years old tradition of harmonious community and this must be cherished and continued in its true spirit. Serious action will be taken for any case of and any type of ragging.
