Computer Centre
St. Xavier's College, with its pioneering legacy, was the
first educational institute of the city to think in terms of
introducing Computer Studies. St. Xavier's Computer Centre (SXCC),
since its inception, on the 4th November 1985, has grown from
strength to strength and at present is a renowned institution
providing Computer Education to people from all walks of life.
There is no age limit to join a course. Class timing: morning
8.00 a.m. - 9.30 a.m. or evening 4:30 p.m. - 6.30 p.m. and
generally 3-4 days per week. St. Xavier's Computer Centre has
now two extension centers one in Kalna and one in Ekbalpore
Road.
Affiliation/Accreditation:
- Accredited to Department of Electronics Accreditation of
Computer Courses (DOEACC), under the Ministry of IT, Govt. of
India.
- Study Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
to run MCA programme.
